We have had a presence in Northern Uganda
for more than 20 years
As a missionary organisation we have overseen developing people and communities through evangelism, health, leadership development, literacy and income generation projects. We are currently establishing a missionary base in Gulu, strengthening our infrastructure and pioneering in church planting, leadership and projects.

Who We Are
TEAMS (The East African Missionary Society) is a Christian organisation dedicated to working with families, children, adults and organisations in East Africa, predominately in the Northern part of Uganda. We are a registered UK charity with a Ugandan NGO status and have had a presence in Uganda for 19 years.
What We Do
We work with local organisations and churches with a view to transform individuals and regional communities by implementing and running training programmes. We are also heavily involved in developing educational, health, agricultural and enterprise projects.

Our Reason
We are motivated by our Faith which is Christianity and our foundations and works are centered around Jesus Christ through whom we look to serve the poor and needy as an act of demonstrating the love of God for all people.
Mission Statement
To establish an integrated vision to bring the whole Gospel to transform lives, communities and nations through love, example, preaching, teaching, training, education and development.
Objectives
To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Holy Bible, in Uganda and elsewhere, by carrying out and promoting biblical knowledge, education and research through love, example and whichever other peaceful means will fulfil this objective.
To relieve poverty, hardship and promote good health by the provision of information, development and services and other means required to relieve such needs.

We are a registered charity – No. 1096919 and a registered NGO in Uganda
We are a registered charity in the UK underneath the authority of Companies House and a registered NGO in Uganda under the authority of the Ugandan Government.
For over 20 years we have built key strategic relationships with local governments in Northern Uganda with a real focus on Education, Health and Development.
Partnerships with PRIME and ACHERU healthcare ministries/services were extended and internal examination papers for Functional Adult Literacy developed in the light of the Government lack of these.
